Custom Furniture

We can build just about anything. We like to work with solid hardwoods but wont turn our noses up about plywood or composites where it makes sense. We typically enjoy working in Mission, Craftsman, Shaker and Mid-Century styles but are open to your ideas.

We also produce various housewares and homestead goods like candle boxes, tea boxes, cutting boards, butcher blocks, outdoor furniture, raised garden beds, chicken coops & tractors, fencing.

DIY Coach / Maker Support

We can help with a DIY or woodworking project of your own. Whether you need to rent some shop time with some of our equipment or would like hands on instruction on anything from hand-cutting dovetails to safe use of the table saw, we can help.

Design

We will produce digital or printed renderings and scale drawings of your project to explore ideas or prepare for building.

Milling

If you have rough lumber you need surfaced or dimensioned for your projects we can joint, plane and resaw.

• jointing up to 12 in. wide
• plane up to 9 in. thick.
• resaw up to 12 in. thick. minimum thickness of 1/8 in.

Sharpening

Working with dull chisels, planes and scrapers can be frustrating and dangerous. We can put a hair-splitting eage on most tools and can show you how to do the same using traditonal waterstones, abrasive sheets or fancy sharpening machines.

Finishing

From traditonal hand-rubbed finishes to modern and ecological water based finishes we can take your boring Ikea bought piece or just about anything made from wood and give it a supple and rich finish that will last.
